Safeguarding principles
Pathfinder Therapy CIC has a duty to consider safeguarding where information suggests serious risk of harm to a child, adult at risk, the person contacting us, or another person.
Limits of confidentiality
Therapeutic confidentiality is important, but it is not absolute. Information may need to be shared if there is a serious risk of harm, safeguarding concern, legal requirement, professional obligation or emergency situation.
Website form warning
Please do not use the website form for urgent risk, crisis disclosures or detailed safeguarding information. Use emergency, NHS or crisis support routes where immediate support is required.
Development of safeguarding policy
Pathfinder is developing detailed safeguarding policies and procedures as part of its wider clinical governance framework. These will be reviewed as the service model develops.
