Our accessibility approach
We aim to align the website with recognised web accessibility principles, including clear structure, keyboard access, readable contrast, meaningful links, alternative text where appropriate and compatibility with assistive technology.
Accessibility support tool
The website includes an accessibility support tool that allows visitors to adjust text size, enable high contrast, underline links, use a more readable font and reduce motion. These controls are intended to support users with low vision, cognitive load, dyslexia, fatigue, trauma-related overwhelm and other access needs.
Screen reader and keyboard access
We are working to ensure core site navigation, headings, links and forms are usable with a keyboard and understandable to screen readers. The site includes a “Skip to main content” link to support keyboard users.
Documents and resources
Pathfinder provides downloadable PDF resources. We aim to make these as readable and structured as possible. If you need a resource in another format, please contact us and we will do our best to provide a suitable alternative.
Language and accessible formats
Pathfinder Therapy CIC currently provides website information in English. If you need information in another language, large print, plain text, audio-readable format or another accessible format, please contact us and we will do our best to support you.
Translation note
Because this website includes mental health, safeguarding and crisis information, we do not rely on automatic translation for clinical or safety-critical content. If translated information is needed, we will aim to use appropriately checked wording wherever possible.
Known limitations
We are still developing the site and may not yet have identified every accessibility issue. Some third-party services, including embedded security or analytics tools, may not be fully controlled by Pathfinder.
Feedback and alternative formats
If you experience difficulty using the website, need information in another format, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at [email protected].
Emergency support
Pathfinder is not an emergency or crisis service. If there is immediate danger to life, call 999 or go to your nearest A&E.
