Armed Forces Covenant

Our Commitment to the Armed Forces Community

Pathfinder Therapy CIC is proud to have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, recognising the contribution of serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families.

Signed by Pathfinder Therapy CIC

We uphold the Armed Forces Covenant.

We recognise the contribution that Service personnel, both regular and reservist, veterans and military families make to our organisation, our community and the country.

Our commitment is practical as well as symbolic: we aim to provide accessible, trauma-informed psychotherapy and wellbeing support that recognises the lived realities of military service, transition, injury, loss, family impact and identity change.

What this means in practice

Our Covenant commitments.

01

Fair access to support

We will work to ensure serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families are not disadvantaged when seeking therapeutic support from Pathfinder.

02

Veteran-aware practice

Our clinical approach recognises service culture, trauma, operational exposure, moral injury, transition, injury, disability and the impact of service on families.

03

Partnership working

We will continue to develop appropriate relationships with Armed Forces charities, referral partners and community organisations to improve routes into support.

04

Employment and opportunity

As an Armed Forces Covenant recognised employer, we value the skills, experience and contribution of veterans, reservists, military families and the wider Armed Forces community.

Veteran-led and clinically grounded

Built by people who understand the terrain.

Pathfinder Therapy CIC is led by Brent Kelly and Tim Felton. The organisation brings together lived military experience, therapy, clinical governance and community benefit to create a specialist route into support for veterans and the wider Armed Forces community.

Our purpose is to make high-quality therapy more accessible for people who may otherwise struggle to find support that understands the realities of military life and transition.
